CREATIVE STORYTELLING
This class within UF's department of journalism stretched the limits of storytelling and journalism. The stories that I created are relevant to the local Gainesville community. The stories are a test the idea of a “conventional” news story.
I dove into the vibrant world of Gainesville's music scene. I collected dozens of interviews and stories from musicians, writers, venue owners, record store owners and relics of their time. It was fascinating and expansive. The project is ever-evolving and continuous.
I created a website and playlist to showcase the memories and milestones.
